NEET PG 2018 Centre Adds Over 5,800 PG seats in medical colleges
New Delhi, In an offer to build the quantity of doctors in nation for giving better medicinal services facilities to the developing population, Over 5,800 post-graduate seats have been added this year across medical colleges in the country. In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey informed that 13,004 MBBS seats have been added in the last three years to the 479 medical colleges in the country.
A one time increment in PG seats was allowed for the current year after the revision of teacher student ratio. Taking all things together, more than 5,800 PG seats have been included for the current year as a stage to build the accessibility of faculty and specialist doctors in the nation.
